Summary of the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to work within our rapidly growing Marketing team, creating personalised high-quality digital assets and implementing A/B tests to improve our customers journeys onsite with the use of HTML/CSS. This exciting role is suitable for somebody who is looking to expand on their experience and ready for their next challenge.

Purpose of the role

The role requires a good attention to detail for reporting and analysis, but also suits a creative thinker with new ideas. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, forward-thinking and keen to progress and grow with us.

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and creating digital assets with the use of HTML/CSS to display current marketing promotions on our websites, that work responsively across all mobile devices and desktop.
  • Implementing A/B tests showing different variations of your work to our customers, striving to improve each of their journeys across our websites.
  • With the use of Google Analytics, tagging and tracking your work to monitor what our customers are engaging with, and more importantly not engaging with also.
  • Create, update and distribute reports to the wider business on the performance of your work and proposing actions based on data analysis to help support key decision making across the business.

  • Outgoing and able to share creative ideas and opinions with the wider team.
  • Happy to take on projects with new and/or unfamiliar technology.
  • Ability to deliver insights rather than just data.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Understands the need to work to tight deadlines and deliver.
  • Creatively minded.
  • Experience of working in a results driven environment.

Required –

  • A good understanding of HTML & CSS to create high-quality digital assets for websites.
  • An understanding of Google Analytics including onclick event tagging & UTM tracking.
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft Excel.

Desired –

  • Experience with Visual Basic (VBA) and Macro’s within Excel in order to automate reporting, so that reports can be distrusted out to the wider business efficiently.
  • Basic image manipulation in Photoshop (or any other image editing software) to perform basic tasks such as resizing, cropping and ‘cutting up’ designs when needed.
  • A good understanding of Google Tag Manager - training can be given.
